Become An AYSO Volunteer
A volunteer application is required for all volunteers. New volunteers will complete a new volunteer application. Returning volunteers will renew their application.
All Volunteers are required to complete the following:
Livescan/fingerprint (Once)
AYSO background check (Annually)
SafeSport (Annually)
AYSO's Safe Haven course (Once)
CDC Concussion (Once)
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Once)
These are online training that are completed at our training portal. Volunteers will have access to the training portal once they have completed a volunteer application. See below for instructions.
LIVESCAN INFORMATION
Livescan fingerprint is required by volunteers in the following roles: Board Member, Coach, Referee, Team Manager.
The region will pay for the cost of the livescan/fingerprint.
We provide a pre-paid code to our volunteers to schedule their fingerprint.
Complete the livescan payment code request form to receive a payment code to pay for and schedule your fingerprint.

INFORMATION FOR REFEREES
New Referees take the Basic Regional Referee course. This is a two-part course: Part 1 online, and part 2 in-person. You must complete part 1(online) prior to attending the in-person part 2

New coaches are required to take the age-appropriate online coaching courses followed by a field training.
